Adams (knee) was waived from injured reserve Monday.
Adams was placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in the Giants' preseason finale. If the linebacker can prove he's healthy, he'll look to find his way on to a new team.

Adams (knee) has reverted to the Giants' injured reserve, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Adams was waived/injured by the team after suffering a knee injury in the preseason finale. However, he ended up going unclaimed. Now he will spend the season on IR unless an injury settlement is reached.

Giants' Keion Adams: Leaves game with knee injury
Adams sustained a knee injury in Thursday's preseason matchup with the Patriots and will not return, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
It's unclear how much Adams will be hindered by the injury after Thursday. The 24-year-old already faced an uphill climb for a roster spot in New York's linebacking corps, and this injury may obviously only complicate things.

Keion Adams: Let go by Steelers
Adams was cut by the Steelers on Monday, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports.
The 2017 seventh-round selection has yet to play a snap in the NFL, in large part due to missing his entire rookie season after injuring his shoulder. Still only 23, there's a good chance Adams could find himself on another roster before the beginning of training camp, but he'll have to be able to prove he can stay on the field.
