The Colts waived Adams on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Adams rejoined the Colts on Aug. 17 after being waived by the team in June. He failed to record a catch in two preseason games and will have to look elsewhere for an opportunity to catch on to a practice squad.

Adams signed with the Colts on Thursday.
The wide receiver joined Indianapolis after Ashton Dulin was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. Adams initially inked a deal with the team as an undrafted free agent in May, but he was waived in June so the Colts could add Breshad Perriman. The rookie will compete for a depth role.
