  • Dolphins' Zeke Vandenburgh: Scheduled for MRI

Vandenburgh will get an MRI after sustaining a leg injury in Friday's 20-13 preseason win over the Falcons, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Vandenburgh recorded one tackle before leaving at the end of the first quarter. The 25-year-old out of Illinois State is battling for a depth spot at inside linebacker, and a prolonged absence due to injury would hurt his already slim chances at making the Dolphins' 53-man roster.

Vandenburgh (undisclosed) was not listed among Dolphins players placed on the PUP list to begin training camp Tuesday.
