Ethan Conner: Dropped by Miami
The Dolphins waived Connor on Saturday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Conner signed with the Dolphins last Monday after being waived by the Jaguars. The undrafted free agent out of Troy did not record any box score stats throughout the 2026 preseason. Connor will now be subject to waivers through Monday, and if he goes unclaimed will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.

Dolphins' Ethan Conner: Headed to Miami
Conner and the Dolphins agreed on a contract Monday.
Conner was waived by the Jaguars on Aug. 17, but he has now found a new home with the Dolphins ahead of the team's final preseason contest Friday against the Falcons. The undrafted free agent will likely be competing for a practice-squad spot with Miami in 2026.

Ethan Conner: Waived by Jacksonville
Conner was waived by the Jaguars on Monday.
The tight end signed with the Jaguars in April as an undrafted free agent after three collegiate seasons at Troy. Conner caught 31 passes for 397 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns in his final college season last year, and he faced an uphill battle to make Jacksonville's 53-man roster.

Jaguars' Ethan Conner: Joining Jaguars
The Jaguars signed Connor as an undrafted free agent Sunday.
Connor played three collegiate seasons at Troy, producing 31 receptions for 397 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns over 11 games in his final season. The tight end comes in at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, making him smaller than the other depth-level tight ends currently on the Jaguars' roster. With marginal receiving upside and a smaller frame, it will likely be difficult for Connor to work his way up the depth chart and would take an exceptional showing at the team's camp for him to be considered for the 53-man roster.
