• Bears' Jahdae Walker: Ejected from Week 6 win

  Rotowire Oct 19, 2026

Walker went without a target while playing 10 of the Bears' 77 snaps on offense in Sunday's 31-23 win over the Falcons. Walker's afternoon came to an end just after the start of the fourth quarter, when he was ejected for headbutting a Falcons player at the end of a kickoff return. He was assessed his second 15-yard penalty of the day as a result, with his first coming on a roughing-the-kicker charge back in the third quarter. Walker will remain a key part of the Bears' special-teams units heading into a Week 7 matchup with the Patriots, but he's buried on the depth chart at receiver and isn't likely to see extended playing time on offense anytime soon.

Walker finished the season with six receptions on 10 targets for 87 yards and two touchdowns across nine games, with all of his production coming over the final three contests. He logged only eight offensive snaps prior to that stretch while frequently inactive, highlighting how situational his usage was. He is signed with Chicago through 2027 and enters 2026 as a depth receiver with fringe roster appeal.

  Rotowire Jan 6, 2026

Walker (illness) did not participate in Tuesday's walkthrough. In the event that Rome Odunze (foot) is able to retake the field versus Green Bay, however, Walker will figure to revert to a depth role on offense.

• Bears' Jahdae Walker: Capitalizes on expanded role

  Rotowire Dec 21, 2025

Walker caught two of three targets for 21 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 22-16 overtime win over the Packers on Saturday. Walker played 27 percent of the snaps with Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden (ankle) out after totaling only nine offensive snaps prior to this game. He saw his first career targets, converting one into a touchdown. While the scoring play boosts his profile, his role remains situational and dependent on continued absences ahead of him.

• Bears' Jahdae Walker: Healthy scratch

  Rotowire Nov 23, 2025

Walker (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports. Walker missed the last two games with a concussion, and despite being cleared of an injury designation the depth wide receiver will not suit up Sunday. The 23-year-old is predominantly a special teams player, so his absence may just be the team trying new options or taking it slow with a depth contributor back from injury.

  Rotowire Nov 13, 2025

Walker (concussion) did not practice Thursday. After being ruled out of the Week 10 win over the Giants, Walker has failed to practice in any capacity this week. If the wide receiver wants to suit up for Sunday's game he will likely have to log at least a limited session Friday. If ruled out, another wide receiver or defensive back will likely fill his limited role on special teams for Sunday's contest against the Vikings.
