Cleveland waived Gray (groin) from its injured reserve list with an injury settlement Sunday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Now that he's off IR, Gray will need to meet the terms of the aforementioned settlement in order to join another organization. Since he went undrafted in 2022, he's made just one appearance in the NFL.

Gray will now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 season while on IR with a groin issue. The cornerback will now shift his focus to being ready to go for the 2025 campaign.

Gray is questionable to return to Saturday's preseason game against the Packers due to a groin injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Gray went back to the locker room with trainers after sustaining the injury, and he did not record a tackle before exiting Saturday's contest. The undrafted corner out of Michigan is competing for a depth spot in the Browns' secondary.
