The Steelers activated Cook (foot) from injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Montana product has missed the Steelers' first eight games this season after being placed on injured reserve in late August with a foot issue. Now that Cook has returned to full health, he's expected to serve as a depth piece in Pittsburgh's offensive line room.

Cook (foot) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Cook began the season on injured reserve, but he returned to the field Thursday after his 21-day practice window opened. He was a full participant in Friday's practice, but the Steelers have opted to take the cautious approach and keep him out of Sunday's contest. Barring any setbacks, Cook should be able to return for Week 8 against the Giants on Monday night, Oct. 28.

Cook is dealing with an undisclosed injury and he'll be forced to miss at least the first four games of the 2024 season while on IR. Once healthy, the 26-year-old is expected to operate as a top reserve option behind Dan Moore and Broderick Jones at offensive tackle this season.
