  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Similar production in year two

McCollough recorded 51 tackles (36 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and four pass defenses over17 games in 2025. A small boost to playing time didn't translate to much improvement in the stat line in year two for McCollough, who had four interceptions in his rookie year but failed to earn one in 2025. The second-year safety did manage to earn his first sacks of his pro career and added eight more tackles year-to-year while functioning as a reliable backup behind Kamren Curl and Kamren Kinchens. With Curl entering free agency, McCollough may be asked to step into a starting role in 2026 if Curl chooses to depart.

  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Good to go Week 18

McCollough (hip) is available for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. McCollough was able to shed an injury designation for Week 18 after logging a full practice Friday. The Rams intend to play their starters despite being limited to the NFC's fifth or sixth seed for the playoffs, but McCollough could still see a significant number of snaps on defense if either or both of Kamren Curl and Kamren Kinchens were to operate on a snap count.

  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Logs limited practice Thursday

McCollough (hip) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. McCollough followed up his limited tag from Wednesday's walkthrough with an official limited practice Thursday. The safety is nursing a hip injury that he suffered in Monday night's loss to the Falcons, and he'll have one more chance to be a full participant at practice before Sunday's matchup with the Cardinals.

  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Limited in Wednesday's walkthrough

McCollough (hip) was a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports. McCollough was able to return to Monday's loss against the Falcons after briefly exiting due to a hip injury. He'll have two more chances to log a full practice and potentially avoid an injury tag for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cardinals. McCollough has accumulated 22 tackles (14 solo) and three pass defenses in the nine games since the Rams' Week 8 bye.

  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Appears to be past illness

McCollough (illness) was estimated as a full participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. McCollough fell ill Saturday and was added to the Rams' injury report as questionable for Sunday's matchup against Detroit. He ended up being able to play in that victory, logging a 65 percent defensive snap share. McCollough was then deemed a non-participant for Monday's walkthrough, but, after being estimated as a full participant one day later, he appears good to go for Thursday's matchup in Seattle.

  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Set to play Week 15

McCollough (illness) is active for Sunday's clash against Detroit, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. McCollough was added to the Rams' injury report Saturday due to an illness, but he's feeling well enough to play one day later. The second-year safety posted a season-high 76 percent defensive snap share last week against Arizona and has seen his reps increase four straight games.

  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Questionable to play Sunday

McCollough was added to the injury report with an illness Saturday and is questionable to play Sunday versus the Lions. McCollough did not show up on the injury report prior to Saturday, so it appears he came down with an illness at some point since Friday's practice. The second-year safety has been productive while playing a reserve role on defense as well as a significant share of snaps on special teams. In 13 games, he's totaled 38 tackles, 2.0 sacks and three passes defended. If McCollough sits out, then Chris Smith and/or Tanner Ingle could see increased playing time behind starting safeties Kamren Curl and Kamren Kinchens.

  • Rams' Jaylen McCollough: Two interceptions in win

McCullough recorded one solo tackle, two interceptions and two passes defensed in Sunday's 20-15 win over the Raiders. McCullough saw a season-high 18 defensive snaps, making the most of his opportunity in Week 7. The 24-year-old logged snaps at both free safety and strong safety in addition to cornerback, picking off Gardner Minshew twice in the second half. McCullough has seen his defensive workload increase as the season has gone on and he's now produced five total tackles (four solo) and three interceptions, including a pick-six in Week 5 versus the Packers.
