The 24-year-old offensive lineman spent the 2024 season on injured reserve with a torn MCL suffered last preseason. He's still looking to make his regular-season NFL debut and will try to latch on elsewhere.

Mettauer (knee) reverted to Kansas City's injured reserve list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
He's expected to stay on the injured reserve list for the whole of the 2024 campaign as he recovers from a ruptured MCL. Nick Torres could see an uptick in action at practice in the meantime.

Mettauer tore his MCL in Kansas City's preseason opener against Jacksonville, though head coach Andy Reid said after the game that the injury won't require surgery. The offensive guard will likely clear waivers and be placed on IR.
