  • Jeremiah Webb: Cut from IR by New England

The Patriots waived Webb (arm) from injured reserve Tuesday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports. Webb landed on the Patriots' injured reserve during training camp in late July due to an arm injury. That move meant that the South Alabama product would have missed the entire 2026 season, but now that he's been cut by the Patriots, Webb will have the opportunity to sign with a team once he's fully healthy.

  • Patriots' Jeremiah Webb: Sustains arm injury

Webb suffered an arm injury during New England's practice Saturday, Taylor Kyles of CLNSMedia.com reports. Webb walked off the field with trainers late in the practice session, and the severity of his injury is currently unknown. The 25-year-old spent last season on the team's practice squad and will be competing for a depth receiver role once healthy.

  • Patriots' Jeremiah Webb: Staying with Patriots

Webb signed a reserve/future contract with the Patriots on Tuesday. Webb joined the Patriots' practice squad in late August and was elevated to the active roster ahead of the wild-card win over the Chargers, though he didn't see the field. The 24-year-old wideout has yet to make his NFL debut after posting 36 receptions for 649 yards and five touchdowns during his final season at South Alabama in 2024.

  • Jeremiah Webb: Moves back to practice squad

The Patriots reverted Webb to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Webb was elevated ahead of Sunday's wild-card win over the Chargers but was ultimately a healthy scratch for that contest. The elevation was his first of the campaign. He was likely elevated as insurance in case Kayshon Boutte (who was dealing with a hamstring injury) couldn't suit up, which didn't end up being the case. It would almost certainly take an injury in the Patriots' receiving corps for Webb to be elevated again for the divisional-round matchup against the Texans on Sunday.

  • Patriots' Jeremiah Webb: Elevated from practice squad

The Patriots elevated Webb to the active roster from their practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup versus the Chargers. Webb joined the team's practice squad back in August, but this marks just the first time that he's been elevated for a game. The rookie undrafted free agent will now have a chance to make his NFL debut should he suit up against the Chargers.

  • Patriots' Jeremiah Webb: Returns to action

Webb was activated from the active/non-football injury list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Webb joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent this spring and was sidelined to begin camp with an undisclosed injury. While it's still a longshot for him to make the roster, getting back on the field quickly can only help his chances.
