Zane Lewis: Works out with Packers
Lewis (undisclosed) traveled to Green Bay on Monday to work out with the Packers, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
Lewis was waived by the Jets in May with a failed physical designation. It remains unclear what injury he was dealing with, but his workout with the Packers indicates he has recovered from the issue. The 25-year-old has yet to suit up for a regular-seson game in his career.

The Jets waived Lewis (undisclosed) with a failed physical designation Saturday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Lewis sustained a torn patella tendon and sprained MCL in August of 2021, although it's not yet clear whether those are the issues that led to his failed physical. A timetable for his return to full health hasn't been revealed.

Lewis was let go by the Cardinals this offseason after he signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Air Force. Lewis racked up 94 tackles, five tackles for loss and two interceptions in his collegiate career, and he'll likely battle for a depth role for the 2020 season.
