Tate has been waived by the Eagles, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports reports.
Tate signed with the Eagles after going undrafted, but it looks like he will need to find a new location before the season kicks off. The Arizona product played quarterback in college but was looking to make the switch to receiver in the NFL.
