  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Remains limited Thursday

Harris (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice. Harris suffered his hamstring injury in Week 5 against Denver and missed Week 6 ahead of last week's bye. With back-to-back limited practices to open Week 8 prep, Harris has a decent chance of suiting up Sunday against the Rams. In a broken Chargers offense, it's difficult to get excited about anyone on the team for fantasy.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Returns to practice in limited fashion

Harris (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Wednesday was Harris' first practice since he sustained a hamstring injury during the Chargers' Week 5 loss to the Broncos. He was unable to play in Week 6 against the Chiefs, but the second-year wide receiver had additional time to rest courtesy of the Chargers' Week 7 bye. It's possible he only misses one game, and he'll have two more chances to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Rams.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Out this week

Harris (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Harris didn't practice this week, after making an early exit from the Week 5 loss to Denver. With Ladd McConkey (foot) and Quentin Johnston (chest) now returning from injuries, the team's WR room is in better shape than a week ago even without Harris.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Sidelined for another practice

Harris (hamstring) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice. The Chargers have held Harris out of their first two practices of the week, a development that comes as little surprise after head coach Jim Harbaugh described the wideout as "more week-to-week" than day-to-day coming out of this past Sunday's loss to the Broncos, per Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com. Unless Harris is able to make a surprise return to practice Friday, he'll likely miss his first game of the season this Sunday in Kansas City.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: No work Wednesday

Harris (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report. Head coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that Harris is week-to-week with the injury he sustained in Sunday's loss to the Broncos, so it comes as little surprise that he did not see any action Wednesday.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Considered week-to-week

Head coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that Harris is "week-to-week" due to a hamstring injury that he sustained during Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Broncos, Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com reports. Harris entered Sunday as the Chargers' WR1 due to the absence of Quentin Johnston (chest) while Ladd McConkey (foot) was available only as an emergency option, per Insdorf. Harris caught two of four passes for 16 yards before sustaining a hamstring injury, which was severe enough for him to not return. Given Harbaugh's update, coupled with the Chargers' bye scheduled for Week 7, it seems likely that Harris will be held out for Week 6 against the Chiefs, with an eye toward being available for Week 8 against the Rams on Sunday, Nov. 1. Given the Chargers' injuries to the wide receiver position, the team will need to lean more heavily on Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Theo Wease, Derius Davis and tight ends Charlie Kolar and Oronde Gadsden in the passing game.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Dealing with hamstring injury

Harris (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Broncos. Harris is dealing with an apparent hamstring injury, and his availability for the stretch run of Sunday's matchup is now up in the air. In his absence, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Derius Davis will likely slot into more prominent roles on offense.

  • Chargers' Tre Harris: Sleeper WRs

Quentin Johnston (chest) is out, and Ladd McConkey (foot) is questionable for Week 5 against Denver. If McConkey is out then Harris will be the No. 1 receiver for Justin Herbert, and Harris would be a starter in all three-receiver leagues. He's stepped up in the past two games against Buffalo and Seattle with McConkey at less than 100 percent with nine catches for 136 yards on 12 targets over that span, and the Broncos will be without standout cornerback Patrick Surtain II (ankle) in this game. I would still consider Harris a starter in three-receiver leagues even if McConkey plays.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Set to be Bolts' WR1 against Denver

Harris' workload should be larger against the Broncos on Sunday, as Quentin Johnston (chest) has been ruled out and Ladd McConkey (foot, questionable) may not play, Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com reports. Rookie fourth-rounder Brenen Thompson (quadriceps) has also been ruled out alongside Johnston. McConkey faces an uphill battle to play Sunday after sitting out of practice all week, and he may operate under a snap count if he's given the green light to suit up. That puts Harris -- who has seen five targets or more in three of four games this season -- in position to work in an elevated role against a Broncos defense that will be without both starting outside cornerbacks Riley Moss (ribs) and Patrick Surtain (ankle).

  • Chargers' Tre Harris: Week 5 Waiver Priority List

Harris could be a starter in three-receiver leagues in Week 5 against Denver if Ladd McConkey (foot) is out, and Harris is worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAAB. He had three catches for 60 yards on five targets in Week 4 at Seattle, in the game in which McConkey was injured and Harris also had six catches for 76 yards on seven targets in Week 3 at Buffalo. Patrick Surtain II (ankle) is expected to be out for the Broncos in Week 5, which is a boost for Harris if McConkey can't play.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Notches 60 yards in loss

Harris caught three of five targets for 60 yards during Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Seahawks. Harris led the team in receiving yards for the second straight week, recording at least 53 receiving yards for the third contest in a row. Ladd McConkey (foot) aggravated his pre-existing foot injury in the contest, and he is considered week-to-week for the time being. If McConkey is unavailable in Week 5 versus the Broncos, Harris may have a chance to operate as the team's primary pass-catcher.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Leads team in receiving in defeat

Harris caught six of seven targets for 76 yards during Sunday's 24-16 loss to Buffalo. Harris led the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards in the loss, all of which represented new career highs for the second-year pro. The wide receiver has now reeled in 10 of 16 targets for 149 yards over three games to open the regular season, and he appears to be on track to be a pivotal member of the team's passing attack in 2026.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Secures long catch in loss

Harris caught one of three targets for 53 yards during Sunday's 26-14 loss to the Raiders. Harris was the Chargers' only starting wide receiver in the contest with Ladd McConkey dealing with a ribs injury. Harris played 56 of the team's 68 offensive snaps, which was more than the next closest wide receivers Quentin Johnston (55) and McConkey (31). The 24-year-old wasn't able to rack up receptions, but he did make a major splash with his one snag, connecting with Justin Herbert for a 53-yard catch and run in the third quarter. Harris now has gathered in four of nine targets for 73 yards over the team's first two games of the season.

  • Chargers' Tre Harris: Week 2 Waiver Priority List

We don't know the status of Ladd McConkey (chest) for Week 2, which could put Harris in a prime spot opposite Quentin Johnston. Harris had three catches for 20 yards on six targets in Week 1 against Arizona, and he's already the No. 3 receiver for the Chargers when everyone is healthy. If McConkey has to miss an extended amount of time, then Harris could be a starter in three-receiver leagues. He's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAAB.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Logs three catches Week 1

Harris caught three of six targets for 20 yards in Sunday's loss to Arizona. Harris tied for the second-most targets on his team, but he couldn't do much with those looks. Fellow wideout Quentin Johnston didn't do any better, catching just two of his six targets for 17 yards, yet both wideouts might be asked to step up if Ladd McConkey (ribs) isn't able to play this coming Sunday versus Las Vegas. Harris also logged nine special-teams snaps Sunday, but he wasn't a major contributor in that regard last season.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Idle for preseason finale

Harris (undisclosed) did not play in the Chargers' 20-18 preseason loss to the Rams on Thursday. Harris will end up not playing a single preseason game, missing the last two while working through an undisclosed injury. Despite the lack of playing time, there's no indication that the 2025 second-rounder is in jeopardy of missing the Chargers' regular-season opener against the Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 13. Following the departure of Keenan Allen, Harris figures to serve as the Chargers' WR3 this season behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Practicing Saturday

Harris (undisclosed) will participate in Saturday's training camp practice, Alex Insdorf of BoltBeat.com reports. Harris was held out of Thursday's preseason game against the 49ers due to an unspecified injury. It doesn't appear to be a severe issue, as he'll be back on the field for Saturday's practice, putting him on track to play in the Chargers' preseason finale against the Rams on Thursday. Harris is slated to serve as the team's WR3 behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston (lower body).

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Should practice this weekend

Harris (undisclosed) didn't play in Thursday's preseason game against San Francisco, but coach Jim Harbaugh said afterward that the wideout should practice this weekend, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports. It sounds like Harris is dealing with a minor injury. Quentin Johnston (lower body) also missed Thursday's exhibition, leaving rookie Brenen Thompson to fill in as a starter opposite Ladd McConkey. Come Week 1, it'll likely be McConkey, Johnston and Harris as the top three.

  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Looking at expanded role in 2026

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said Wednesday that Harris is "clearly" part of the team's top three wide receivers alongside Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston at OTAs, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports. With Keenan Allen still unsigned and looking like a poor fit for new OC Mike McDaniel's speed-based offense, Harris appears ticketed for a bigger offensive role in his second season. Harris appeared in all 17 regular-season games as a rookie, making 10 starts, but he logged just 49 percent of the offensive snaps and turned 43 targets into a 30-324-1 receiving line. Allen played 55 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps but paced the team with 122 targets and 81 catches. Harris will need to fend off fourth-round rookie Brenen Thompson, but Harris certainly has a chance to see significantly more playing time and pass volume in 2026.
... See More ... See Less
  • Chargers' Tre' Harris: Receiver room competition

Harris could have competition for his spot on the depth chart after the Chargers selected Brenen Thompson with the 105th overall pick during the 2026 NFL Draft. New offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel reportedly had significant interest in Thompson because of his blazing 4.26 40-yard dash, reminiscent of the wide receiver archetype he valued as a head coach in Miami. It's hard to tell if the Chargers will have designated plays for Thompson, or if they will continue to feature Harris, the 2025 second-round pick who made his bones at the collegiate level as a RPO specialist. Harris' rookie year was relatively mundane (30-324-1) despite playing all 17 regular-season games, but with Keenan Allen potentially on his way out, there overall could be more opportunities available in Los Angeles in what figures to be a more pass-happy scheme.
