Texans' Kilian Zierer: Logs 33 snaps
Zierer (ankle) was on the field for 33 snaps in Friday's 20-12 preseason victory over the Steelers, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Zierer spent the entire 2023 campaign on Houston's injured reserve. It appears he has fully moved on from the injury. He is competing for a depth role on the team's offensive line this season.

Texans' Kilian Zierer: Heads to IR
The Texans placed Zierer (ankle) on injured reserve Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Zierer suffered the injury in Saturday's preseason loss to the Dolphins. He was working to make the team as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn, but instead, he's now set to miss the rest of the 2023 campaign. However, he could return to play if he can reach an injury settlement with the team and prove himself healthy.

Texans' Kilian Zierer: Suffers injury
Zierer sprained his ankle in Saturday's preseason loss to the Dolphins, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Zierer was working to make the team as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn. The 23-year-old will be out for a few weeks, which could impact his ability to make the 53-man roster. Now he'll focus on his recovery, so he can get back out on the field.
