Packers' Nick Perry: Five tackles and a sack in comeback win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Perry totaled five tackles, including one sack, and a forced fumble in Sunday's win over Chicago.

Perry was quite for much of Sunday's game but his strip sack of Mitchell Trubisky iced the Packers' comeback late in the fourth quarter. Perry has been a quality pass rusher when healthy but has dealt with a myriad of injuries over the course of his first-six seasons. His health is important for Green Bay, who's short on depth at the outside linebacker position. Perry will look to disrupt the Kirk Cousins led Vikings offense in Week 2.

Packers' Nick Perry: Activated from PUP list
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Perry (ankle) was activated off the PUP list Sunday and will be eligible to practice, Rob Demovsky of reports.

Perry, who landed on the PUP list following offseason ankle surgery, had been ramping up his activity off to the side during practice the past couple weeks. The starting outside linebacker's status for Friday's preseason game against the Raiders is unclear at this point, but he'll have three weeks to get back in the swing of things before the Packers host Chicago in Week 1 of the regular season on Sep. 9.

Packers' Nick Perry: Nearing medical clearance
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Head coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday that Perry (ankle) is close to coming off the PUP list, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

McCarthy did not appear to know exactly when Perry was going to be cleared to come off the PUP, but at the very least the head coach seems please with the linebacker's progress. Perry has been sidelined since he was placed on injured reserve back in December with the ankle injury.

Packers' Nick Perry: Lands on PUP list
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Perry (ankle) will start training camp on the Packers' Physically Unable to Perform list, Rob Demovsky of reports.

Perry is still nursing an ankle injury, which he sustained against the Panthers last December. The linebacker reportedly isn't expected to be at risk of missing the start of the regular season, however.

Packers' Nick Perry: Still nursing ankle injury
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Perry (ankle) sat out of OTAs on Tuesday, Rob Demovsky of reports.

Due to injuries, Perry has yet to complete a full campaign in his six-year career, but he's combined for 90 tackles and 18 sacks in 26 games over the last two seasons. The Packers are looking to use counterpart Clay Matthews in a more versatile role -- moving him between inside and outside linebacker -- during 2018, which should affect how offenses key in on Perry as well.
