Colvin plans to sign a four-year deal with Texans, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
The deal is reported to be $34 million, with $18 million guaranteed. Colvin recorded 45 tackles (38 solo) and five passes defensed in 16 games with the Jaguars last season. The Texans allowed the most points in the league last season, so the addition of Colvin could go a long way in shoring up their secondary.
Colvin recorded 10 tackles (nine solo) during Sunday's 30-9 win in Pittsburgh.
Two of Colvin's 10 tackles went for losses. The 26-year-old did all of his damage on just 55 snaps (70.0 percent). He will look to carry his momentum into Week 6 against the Rams.
Colvin (foot) has been removed from the physically unable to perform list and will take part in Saturday's practice, Hays Carlyon of 1010 AM WJXL reports.
Colvin entered training camp on the PUP list due to a season-ending foot injury he suffered in Week 15 of the 2016 season. He'll now be back in action and should be assumed to be healthy.
