Packers linebacker Nick Perry said he had offseason surgery to repair an injured shoulder he sustained during the season, according to ESPN.com.
"In order to become successful you had to make sure you don't go into the next year with things lingering on," Perry said. "Without a question, it was something that had to be done. We're good now. We're on the right track. So we're looking good."
The surgery is why he has been unable to practice with his teammates this offseason. It's also unknown if he'll be cleared by training camp.
Perry totaled 22 tackles and three sacks in 2014.
