Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Breaks three-game catchless skid
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards caught his lone target for an 11-yard gain during Saturday's 26-25 loss to the Dolphins.

Ankle and foot injuries cost Edwards a total of four games between October and November. Even when on the field, however, the third-round rookie has been largely unimpactful. He flashed with four combined receptions for 90 yards between Weeks 2 and 3, but since returning from injury Week 9 against the Chargers, Edwards has yet to exceed one catch or 16 yards in any outing. He remains a depth receiving option as the Raiders move into a Week 17 matchup against the Broncos that is no longer postseason relevant.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Could handle more reps
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Coach Jon Gruden said Friday that Edwards could get a chance to play more over the final two games, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Gruden cited the fact that Edwards was in COVID-19 protocol last week for his lack of playing time. Still, Edwards hasn't played more than 32 percent of the offensive snaps since Week 3, a trend that was well-established before entering COVID-19 protocol. However, he could get more reps down the stretch out of necessity if Hunter Renfrow (concussion) is forced to miss any time.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Posts another dud
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards was not targeted in Sunday's 44-27 loss to the Colts.

Edwards logged 20 offensive snaps for just the second time since the Raiders' Week 6 bye as the Colts grew a large lead in the second half, but the rookie failed to translate his playing time into production. He's gone since Week 3 without a multi-reception effort, and that trend may continue this week on Thursday Night Football against the Chargers.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Logs 15 snaps in close victory
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards failed to reel in his only target in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Jets.

Edwards' role in the Raiders' offense has been severely limited due to the resurgence of Nelson Agholor alongside fellow receivers Henry Ruggs and Hunter Renfrow, while tight end Darren Waller remains a focal point of the team's aerial attack as well. A relatively difficult matchup against the Colts awaits in Week 14.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Two targets in blowout defeat
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards caught one pass for 15 yards on two targets in Sunday's 43-6 loss to the Falcons.

Edwards' 19 offensive snaps Sunday more than doubled his amount from the Raiders' Week 11 loss to the Chiefs, but the rookie wide receiver is averaging just 1.25 targets per game since returning from foot and ankle injuries against the Chargers in Week 9. Additional opportunities could appear for Edwards in Week 13 against the winless Jets if the Raiders manage to build a significant lead, however.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Tallies one reception in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards caught one pass for one yard on two targets in Sunday's 35-31 loss to the Chiefs.

Edwards was targeted on two of his nine offensive snaps, but he's seemingly still being eased back into action since his Week 9 return from ankle and foot injuries. The Falcons' secondary has been generous to opposing wide receivers this season, but Edwards remains behind Nelson Agholor, Henry Ruggs and Hunter Renfrow at wide receiver ahead of a Week 12 matchup in Atlanta.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: First catch since Week 3
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards caught his only target for 16 yards in Sunday's 37-12 win over the Broncos.

Edwards, who saw the field for just one play in Week 9 upon his return from ankle and foot injuries, was somewhat factored back into the mix with a 28-percent snap share Sunday. He figures to remain behind Nelson Agholor, Henry Ruggs and Hunter Renfrow in the pecking order at wide receiver when the Raiders host the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Cleared for Week 9
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (foot/ankle) won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game versus the Chargers.

Edwards hasn't played a snap since Week 3, but now he has two full practices under his belt and is ready for Sunday's divisional tilt. Nelson Agholor has carved out a role in the Raiders' offense, so Edwards likely will operate as the No. 4 wide receiver behind Agholor, Henry Ruggs and Hunter Renfrow. Edwards should have an opportunity to secure more responsibility once he's eased into the lineup.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Practices without limitations
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (foot/ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Edwards hasn't suited up for game action since Week 3 in New England, but his ability to practice fully Thursday would seem to indicate that he's on track to return against the Chargers on Sunday. Given how cautious the Raiders have been regarding Edwards' recovery, the team could opt to ease him back to action behind Henry Ruggs, Nelson Agholor and Hunter Renfrow, rather than counting on the rookie to immediately re-enter the starting rotation.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Remains limited at practice
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (foot/ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Edwards practiced last week for the first time since injuring his foot and ankle Week 3, but three consecutive limited showings weren't enough for the Raiders to clear the rookie third-round pick for action. He's kicking off this week in the same fashion, so it'll be interesting to see if he can elevate to full activity by Friday. If Edwards is unable to make the requisite progress, Henry Ruggs, Nelson Agholor and Hunter Renfrow will be the team's most utilized wide receivers Sunday against the Chargers.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Not playing in Cleveland
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle) is inactive Week 8 against the Browns.

Edwards hasn't seen the field since Week 3 against New England, and despite returning to practice this week, he'll have to wait until at least Week 9 to make his return. Meanwhile, Henry Ruggs, Nelson Agholor and Hunter Renfrow will lead the receiving corps in what's expected to be a windy day in Cleveland.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Questionable for Week 8
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle/foot) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Edwards put forth a trio of limited sessions leading up to Sunday's game, his first practice reps since suffering an ankle sprain Week 3. Nelson Agholor, Henry Ruggs and Hunter Renfrow have comprised the Raiders' starting group in three-receiver sets with Edwards out, so the rookie third-round pick could face some competition for snaps even if he's able to return in Cleveland.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: First practice since Week 3
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle/foot) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Wednesday marked Edwards' first practice since he sprained his ankle in Week 3. If he shows enough progress in practice this week to suit up Sunday in Cleveland, Edwards could find himself out of the mix for a regular starting role alongside Henry Ruggs and Hunter Renfrow. Nelson Agholor has stepped up for the Raiders in Edwards' absence, hauling in 11 of 15 targets for 218 yards and three touchdowns over the past three contests.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Missing another game
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle/foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Edwards will miss his third straight game due to lingering foot and ankle injures, despite the fact that he's had the benefit of a bye week to get additional rest. With the rookie third-round pick out, the Raiders will roll with Henry Ruggs, Hunter Renfrow and Nelson Agholor in three-receiver sets.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Still not practicing
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle/foot) didn't practice Wednesday.

It's not a great sign that Edwards still isn't practicing with the Raiders coming off their bye week. If Edwards remains sidelined for a third straight game Sunday against the Buccaneers, Henry Ruggs, Hunter Renfrow and Nelson Agholor would continue to head the team's wideout corps.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Ruled out for Week 5
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle/foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Edwards, who didn't practice Wednesday through Friday, thus remains in the week-to-week category, but perhaps the team's Week 6 bye will afford him enough recovery time to suit up Oct. 25 against the Buccaneers. On the plus side for the Raiders, fellow rookie Henry Ruggs (knee/hamstring) -- who is listed as questionable -- has a good chance to return to action this weekend.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Unable to practice Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle/foot) was sidelined at Wednesday's practice, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Edwards missed the Raiders' Week 4 loss to the Bills, and his absence from practice Wednesday doesn't bode especially well for his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Chiefs. On the plus side for the Raiders, fellow rookie wideout Henry Ruggs (knee/hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Won't play Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

With Henry Ruggs (knee/hamstring) doubtful for the contest, Hunter Renfrow, Nelson Agholor and Zay Jones are in line to head the Raiders' Week 4 wide receiver corps.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Missing Wednesday's practice
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards (ankle) isn't practicing Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.

With Ian Rapoport of NFL Network relaying earlier Wednesday that Edwards is considered week-to-week and is unlikely to play Sunday against the Bills, his absence from practice comes as little surprise. With Henry Ruggs (hamstring) also trending in the wrong direction for Week 4, the Raiders are expected to lean on the trio of Hunter Renfrow, Nelson Agholor and Zay Jones as their primary wideouts Week 4.

Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Likely out Week 4 with ankle sprain
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Edwards is expected to be sidelined for the Raiders' Week 4 game against the Bills after spraining his ankle in Sunday's 36-20 loss to the Patriots, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Edwards is apparently dealing with a fairly significant sprain, as Rapoport notes that the Raiders are viewing him as week-to-week beyond the Bills game, suggesting the rookie could be in line to miss additional time. The Raiders' passing game has largely run through tight end Darren Waller this season, but Edwards has established himself as a starter at receiver for Las Vegas, totaling five receptions for 99 yards in three games while playing more than 60 percent of offensive snaps in the first two contests of the season. With fellow wideout Henry Ruggs (knee) also banged up, the Raiders could be forced to rely more heavily on Hunter Renfrow, Nelson Agholor and Zay Jones as the main complementary pass catchers behind Waller.
