Rams' Jordan Fuller: Impressive rookie season
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuller notched 60 tackles (42 solo), five pass breakups and three interceptions across 12 games in 2020.

Fuller burst onto the scene in Los Angeles as a Week 1 starter at strong safety, and though he missed four games due to a neck injury, the 2020 sixth-round pick didn't miss a step upon returning to action. Once he was back to full health Week 11 -- when he picked off Tom Brady twice in a win over the Buccaneers -- Fuller played 100 percent in each of the Rams' subsequent contests, including both of the team's playoff games. While Fuller's numbers didn't necessarily thrust him into the mix as an every-week IDP fantasy option, he'll be worth keeping an eye on heading into Year 2.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Picks off Brady twice Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuller recorded four tackles, all solo, and two interceptions across 69 defensive snaps in Monday's win over the Buccaneers.

The rookie burst onto the scene in iconic fashion, recording not one, but two interceptions (the first of his career) of Tom Brady during Monday Night Football. It was only Fuller's second game back from a three-game absence due to a neck injury. He has played in about 51 percent of the defensive snaps this season, but given his stellar performance Monday, he may be in store for more reps sooner rather than later.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Officially back from IR
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Rams activated Fuller (neck) from injured reserve Saturday, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Fuller beat out Taylor Rapp -- a 2019 second-round pick -- for the starting strong safety job to begin the season, but that was partly because Rapp dealt with a knee injury during training camp. Rapp is fully healthy now, however, and he's started the last three games. That figures to remain the gameplan Sunday against the Seahawks, but Fuller could retake the starting gig if his performance warrants it.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Preparing to return from IR
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuler (neck) was designated to return from IR on Monday, indicating the beginning of his 21-day window to be activated.

Fuller has missed three games because of a stringer, and if he avoids a setback during the practice week, he's expected to return to action Sunday against the Seahawks. The rookie sixth-rounder secured the starting strong safety job during training camp because Taylor Rapp was injured, but now both are healthy. It's likely Rapp's job to lose now that he's started the last four games and produced 21 tackles, two pass breakups and two turnovers. Fuller may still be utilized in nickel packages upon return.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Lands on IR
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Rams placed Fuller (neck) on injured reserve Tuesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. "He had a little stinger," coach Sean McVay said Tuesday.

Fuller missed Week 4 but was able to play in this past Sunday's win over Washington, and his current injury may be related. Regardless, the Rams are shutting him down for at least three weeks as he recovers from a stinger. Fuller and Taylor Rapp were battling for the starting strong safety role, and Rapp will be the unequivocal starter until Fuller can return.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Works at full speed

Fuller (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Kevin Modesti of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

After missing the Week 4 matchup against the Giants, the rookie sixth-rounder is slated to return to the lineup against Washington on Sunday. Fuller started the first two games of the season after pushing Taylor Rapp out of the No. 1 role, but Rapp may have retaken the starting gig based on his performance the last two games. We may not get clarification on how the two will line up until the Rams take the field Sunday.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Unavailable Week 4
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuller (shoulder) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

The 22-year-old sustained the shoulder injury during the Week 3 loss to the Bills and was considered questionable for Sunday, but he'll be forced to miss at least one game. Taylor Rapp is expected to step into the starting role at safety in Fuller's absence.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Status uncertain for Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuller (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Giants, Lindsey Thiry of reports.

Fuller suffered a shoulder injury during this past Sunday's loss to the Bills, and he was able to practice all week, albeit in a limited capacity. If he's forced to sit out Sunday, expect 2019 second-round pick Taylor Rapp to bump into a starting role.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Leaves game Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuller (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bills, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

It's unclear how Fuller suffered the injury, however, he was forced to leave the game in the second quarter. Taylor Rapp took over for Fuller, and he's expected to do so as long as Fuller is sidelined.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Continues to impress
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuller played all 71 defensive snaps and recorded nine tackles (five solo) during Sunday's 37-19 win over Dallas.

The rookie continues to prove he's earned his starting role and is now up to a respectable 17 tackles (10 solo) through two games. As long as Fuller has an every-down role, he should be on your radar in IDP leagues.

Rams' Jordan Fuller: Bigger role than expected
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Fuller totaled eight tackles (five solo) against Dallas on Sunday.

Fuller played well, leading the Rams in tackles and apparently earning his playing time over incumbent and presumed starting safety Taylor Rapp. The Athletic writer Jouran Rodrigue reported that coach Sean McVay said Rapp, who was active, did not have his role reduced for injury reasons, instead saying that Fuller "played his way into his role." Rapp missed some training camp time with a knee issue, so perhaps he was behind in some regard. It's possible that playing time between Fuller and Rapp fluctuates over the course of the season, but if one can hold off the other, they should provide standout IDP utility.
