Hogan suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's win over the 49ers and has been ruled out for the rest of the season, Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Hogan was serving as a depth option at wide receiver after signing with the team Sept. 26, as the Colts were dealing with some injuries within the unit. He was unable to haul in a catch in his limited time on the field.
Hogan sustained a knee injury against in Sunday's win over the 49ers and did not return, Kevin Bowen of 1070 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Hogan did not have a reception prior to leaving with the injury. The 22-year-old has mostly served as a depth option at receiver with Kamar Aiken (concussion) and Chester Rogers (hamstring) dealing with injuries.
Hogan signed a contract Tuesday with the Colts, Kevin Bowen of 1070 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
The Colts are hurting for depth wideouts with Kamar Aiken in the concussion protocol and Chester Rogers week-to-week with a hamstring injury, so the signing of Hogan fills a need. Hogan will likely be active Sunday against the Seahawks if both Aiken and Rogers are sidelined, but don't expect him to see significant snaps on offense.
