  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Suffers broken leg

Nosek will miss Florida's season finale against Detroit on Wednesday because of a broken leg, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Thus ends a difficult campaign for Nosek, who was limited to 21 outings due to injury. He recorded two goals, four points, four PIM and 51 hits over those games in 2025-26. The 33-year-old is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Pots first two goals of season

Nosek scored twice and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Maple Leafs. Nosek hadn't scored in his first 19 games of the campaign. He changed that at 1:32 of the second period when he scored the game-winning tally, and he added an empty-netter late in the third. Since recovering from a knee injury, Nosek has four points, eight shots on net, 49 hits and a minus-8 rating over 20 appearances this season. He has been able to play regularly due to the Panthers' ever-growing list of injuries to other forwards late in the year.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Garners first assist of season

Nosek logged an assist, two hits and two PIM in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Flames. Nosek picked up his first point of the season in his ninth outing. The 33-year-old missed nearly five months to begin the campaign while recovering from a knee injury. He's added just one shot on net, 27 hits, seven blocked shots and a minus-2 rating. Nosek is firmly in a bottom-six role and won't be a fantasy candidate in the vast majority of formats.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Activated from IR-NR

Nosek (knee) was removed from the non-roster injured reserve list Tuesday, according to the NHL media site. Nosek hasn't played in a game yet in 2025-26, as he sustained a major knee injury in the offseason and landed on IR-NR in early October as a result. The 33-year-old posted nine points (one goal), 83 hits and a plus-4 rating over 59 regular-season appearances in 2024-25. Now that he's back in the fold, expect him to serve in a fourth-line capacity.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Shifts to non-roster injured list

Nosek (knee) was moved to non-roster, injured reserve Tuesday. Nosek is not expected back in the lineup until mid-December, so his designation for non-roster, injured reserve shouldn't come as a surprise. With the depth forward on the shelf, the Cats signed Noah Gregor to a one-year, two-way deal to bolster the lineup. Once cleared to play, Nosek should be capable of claiming a bottom-six spot in the Panthers' lineup.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Set to miss several months

General manager Bill Zito said Wednesday that Nosek sustained a significant knee injury during the offseason and will miss several months to begin the regular season, David Dwork of The Hockey News reports. Nosek inked a one-year contract to remain with the Panthers during the offseason, but he'll miss the start of the year due to his injury, which will likely lead to increased playing time for Evan Rodrigues and Jesper Boqvist. Nosek made 59 regular-season appearances during his first season in Florida last year, recording a goal, eight assists, 83 hits and 24 blocked shots while averaging a career-low 9:49 of ice time.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Set to return for Game 1

Nosek (rest) will be available for Game 1 of Florida's first-round series in the playoffs, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Nosek dealt with an illness late in the season, and he was out for rest purposes during Tuesday's regular-season finale against Tampa Bay. However, head coach Paul Maurice said Thursday that Nosek should be able to suit up to begin the playoffs. Nosek made 59 regular-season appearances this year and recorded a goal, eight assists, 83 hits and 24 blocked shots while averaging 9:49 of ice time.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Back out of lineup

Nosek (rest) won't play Tuesday versus the Lightning, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports. Nosek returned from an illness Monday versus the Rangers. The Panthers have nothing to play for Tuesday, so they'll allow him to rest up again ahead of the playoffs. The 32-year-old will compete for bottom-six minutes during the postseason, though he's not a lock for the lineup.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: On track to return against Rangers

Nosek (illness) was working with the main group during Monday's morning skate, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports, indicating that he'll be back in action for the Panthers' home game against the Rangers. Nosek was unavailable for Saturday's game against Buffalo, but he should be back in action following a one-game absence. The 32-year-old has made five appearances this month, recording no points and racking up 18 hits while averaging 11:42 of ice time.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Out Saturday

Nosek (illness) won't play Saturday against Buffalo, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports. Nosek will miss at least one game as he recovers from an illness. The veteran forward has been stuck in a 20-game point drought and has one goal and nine points in 58 appearances this season. He'll look to return Monday when the Panthers host the Rangers.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Still cold on offense

Nosek's point drought is up to 20 games after he was held scoreless in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings. Spring hasn't brought any heat to Nosek's scoring. During the drought, he has just 16 shots on net and a minus-2 rating, though he has doled out 40 hits. The 32-year-old is in a bottom-six role when he plays, and he was scratched nine straight times between March 13 and April 1. Sam Bennett's (upper body) absence will likely keep Nosek in the lineup for the rest of the regular season, but he could get pinched out in the postseason. He has managed a mere nine points with 45 shots on net and 81 hits over 58 appearances.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Languishing in point drought

Nosek's point drought reached 12 games in Monday's 2-1 win over the Lightning. Nosek hasn't added much else during his slump -- he has 20 hits, eight shots on net, four PIM and a minus-1 rating in that span. The 32-year-old is filling a bottom-six role currently. He's been limited to nine points, 37 shots on net, 61 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across 50 appearances in his first year with the Panthers.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Lends helper in win

Nosek notched an assist and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Sharks. Nosek set up an A.J. Greer tally in the second period to spark a four-goal frame for the Panthers. With four helpers over his last four games, Nosek is starting to get more involved on offense despite his fourth-line role. He's at nine points, 29 shots on net, 41 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 38 appearances this season. The 32-year-old is unlikely to sustain significant scoring numbers and doesn't need to be tracked in most fantasy formats.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Adds pair of assists

Nosek recorded two assists and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Ducks. Nosek will be sad to be done with the Ducks this season -- the 32-year-old had an 11-game point drought prior to playing against them Saturday. He's since logged three helpers over the two-game season series. It's possible this jump-starts Nosek's offense, but the veteran forward remains in a fourth-line role and is unlikely to be a consistent scorer most of the time. He's now at eight points, 28 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-7 rating through 36 appearances.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Picks up helper Sunday

Nosek produced a shorthanded assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Lightning. Nosek ended a six-game slump with the helper on A.J. Greer's second-period goal. The 32-year-old Nosek has spent the majority of the campaign in a fourth-line role, and that's not helping him generate more offense. He has five points, 19 shots on net, 29 hits, 17 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 23 appearances.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Sends assist in win

Nosek produced an assist, two shots on goal and four blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sharks. Nosek ended a seven-game point drought when he set up the second of Matthew Tkachuk's tallies Saturday. The former has held down a consistent spot in the bottom six, though Nosek doesn't typically score enough to earn interest in fantasy. He's at four points, 14 shots on net, 20 hits, 14 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 16 outings this season while currently centering the fourth line.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Gets on scoresheet with helper

Nosek notched an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Stars in Finland. This was Nosek's second game of the season after he missed all of October due to an upper-body injury. He's slotted into a bottom-six role to begin his first year with the Panthers, and given the team's center depth, he's unlikely to get a look higher in the lineup without a move to the wing. He's added one shot on goal, two hits and a plus-2 rating over his two appearances.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Nearing return to action

Nosek (upper body) looks poised to suit up against the Stars on Friday after head coach Paul Maurice told reporters, "Assuming he gets through the morning skate and feels good, we'll activate him at that time," per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site. Nosek will make his season debut after missing the Panthers'' opening 11 games of the campaign. The veteran center will slot into a fourth-line role alongside A.J. Greer and Mackie Samoskevich, a move that will relegate Patrick Giles to the press box. For his part, Nosek saw action in 36 games for New Jersey last year and generated two goals and four assists. Having never topped the 20-point mark in his career, fantasy players probably shouldn't be expecting a ton of offense out of Nosek this season.

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Transfers to LTIR

Nosek (upper body) was transferred to long-term injured reserve on Friday, per PuckPedia. Nosek was placed on injured reserve Monday, and now he'll be out for the remainder of October. He was deemed week-to-week as of Tuesday. Nosek won't count against the Panthers' cap while he's on LTIR, allowing the team to call up Patrick Giles to help cover for the absence of Aleksander Barkov (lower body).

  • Panthers' Tomas Nosek: Labeled week-to-week

Nosek (upper body) is considered week-to-week and is expected to miss at least the next seven games after GM Bill Zito said "but not next week," per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site on Tuesday. Nosek has already been designated for injured reserve, so his timeline shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Still, the 32-year-old forward was expected to slot into a bottom-six role for the Panthers after signing a one-year deal with the club in the offseason. With Nosek on the shelf, Jonah Gadjovich and A.J. Greer could see some extra opportunities.
