  • Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Signs with Hurricanes

Roslovic inked a one-year, $2.8 million contract with the Hurricanes on Thursday. Roslovic split the 2023-24 campaign between Columbus and the Rangers, picking up 31 points in 59 regular-season games. Roslovic had a pair of goals and six assists in 16 playoff games for the Rangers. He should play in a middle-six role for Carolina in 2024-25.

  • Rangers' Jack Roslovic: Picks up assist in overtime win

Roslovic recorded an assist in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Panthers in Game 3. Roslovic was credited with the secondary helper on Alexander Wennberg's tally in overtime. While he hasn't scored in nine games, Roslovic has picked up three assists over his last four contests. The 27-year-old winger began the playoffs in a top-line role, but he's now on the third line after Filip Chytil took his spot alongside Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad. Roslovic is at eight points, 18 shots on net, nine hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 13 playoff appearances, but his scoring chances are likely to be limited as long as he remains in the bottom six.

  • Rangers' Jack Roslovic: Hands out helper

Roslovic logged an assist in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes in Game 1. Roslovic set up the first of Mika Zibanejad's two goals in the first period. While he hardly stands out on offense, Roslovic has been steady for the Rangers in the playoffs -- he's on a six-game point streak (three goals, three assists) that dates back to the regular-season finale. The 27-year-old is still in a top-line role at even strength, though he's prone to having shifts skipped depending on the flow of the game.

  • Rangers' Jack Roslovic: Deposits empty-netter

Roslovic scored an empty-net goal on the power play in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals in Game 4. Roslovic was able to put the icing on the cake for the Rangers' first-round sweep over the Capitals. The 27-year-old has two goals (both on the power play) and two assists over four playoff contests, and he's added seven shots on net and five hits. Roslovic is seeing top-six minutes at even strength, but he shouldn't be expected to sustain his scoring success as the matchups get tougher later in the postseason. He had just nine goals and 31 points over 59 regular-season outings between the Blue Jackets and the Rangers.

  • Rangers' Jack Roslovic: Opens scoring Monday

Roslovic scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 4-0 win over the Senators. Roslovic snapped a four-game point drought with the tally. The 27-year-old winger has been decent for the Rangers with eight points over 19 contests since he was traded from the Blue Jackets. On the year, he has 31 points, 117 shots on net and a minus-10 rating through 59 appearances. Roslovic ended the regular season on the Rangers' top line, but he could be quickly shuffled down the lineup if the team encounters any stumbles in the playoffs.

  • Rangers' Jack Roslovic: First points with new team

Roslovic scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday. The points were Roslovic's first as a member of the Rangers (four games). He took a cross-ice feed and one-timed a wicked shot past Andrei Vasilevskiy from the bottom of the left circle. Roslovic is skating on the top line alongside Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad, and his pesky, on-all-the-time approach has been a good fit there. He could be a valuable waiver pickup in this situation.

  • Rangers' Jack Roslovic: Traded to Rangers

Roslovic was traded from Columbus to the Rangers in exchange for a conditional 2026 fourth-round pick Friday, per Brian Hedger of The Columbus Dispatch. Roslovic has been battling injuries this year and has only played 40 games for the Blue Jackets. In his last five games he's recorded two goals and four assists. On the year the 24-year-old has six goals and 17 assists. He could slide into a middle-six role for the Rangers upon his arrival in New York.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Stays warm Saturday

Roslovic notched a pair of assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks. Roslovic helped out on tallies by linemates Boone Jenner and Johnny Gaudreau. After sputtering on offense for much of the season, Roslovic has 10 points over his last nine outings since moving to the top line. Although his total offensive output this campaign hasn't been great -- he's up to 20 points, 74 shots on net and a minus-11 rating through 37 contests -- the 27-year-old's worth a look in fantasy as long as he can stay on the top line.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Pots game-winning goal

Roslovic scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Rangers. The goal was just Roslovic's fourth through 34 games. It's been a tough year in which he battled through injuries and was even a healthy scratch in January. Now that he's healthy, Roslovic is starting to turn things around. He has points in five of the last six games for a total of two goals and five assists. During that stretch, he's been well over his season average of 16:11 of ice time in five of six games. He's shooting just 6.2 percent this year and has a career average of 11.8, so Roslovic could be due for further positive regression with his shooting percentage.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Picks up assist

Roslovic posted an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Kings. Roslovic has a goal and two assists, as well as 12 shots on net, over his last three games. He's struggled at times to avoid being a healthy scratch, but the 27-year-old winger has found some success in a top-line role recently. Overall, Roslovic has a modest 13 points with 54 shots on net, 18 hits, 12 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 31 appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Draws helper in win

Roslovic provided an assist, four shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Sharks. Roslovic was rewarded for his goal in Tuesday's loss to the Senators with a move up to the top line. He helped out on Zach Werenski's first-period marker. Roslovic is up to three goals, nine assists, 52 shots on net and a minus-11 rating through 30 appearances this season. He could have some fantasy appeal if he sticks on the top line, but there's little evidence in his 2023-24 campaign that suggests he'll be able to maintain his newfound role.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Healthy scratch against Kraken

Roslovic was a healthy scratch for Sunday's 4-2 loss to Seattle, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic. Roslovic logged just 10:42 of ice time in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to Vancouver. He has two goals, 10 points and 40 shots on net in 26 appearances this season. Roslovic was replaced in the lineup Sunday by Emil Bemstrom.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Out Sunday

Roslovic (undisclosed) is not expected to play Sunday against the Kraken. Roslovic was dealing with a minor upper-body issue earlier this week but hadn't missed a game because of it. It's unclear if his absence Sunday is related. The 26-year-old has just two goals and 10 points in 26 games this season. Emil Bemstrom is expected to dress while Roslovic is out.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Set to play Saturday

Roslovic (upper body) is slated to play Saturday against Vancouver, Dave Maetzold of Bally Sports Ohio reports. Roslovic exited Thursday's 5-2 win over Calgary because of the injury, but it seems he won't miss a full game. He has two goals and 10 points in 25 contests in 2023-24. Roslovic is projected to play on the second line alongside Adam Fantilli and Boone Jenner based on Saturday's practice, per Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Will play against Maple Leafs

Roslovic (ankle) will be in the lineup versus Toronto on Friday, Coby Maeir of the 1st Ohio Battery reports. Roslovic is expected to slot into a fourth-line role which will relegate Mathieu Olivier to the press box. The 26-year-old Roslovic was averaging 1:38 of ice time with the man advantage prior to his injury absence and could link up with the No. 2 man-advantage unit against the Maple Leafs.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Could return Friday

Roslovic (ankle) is expected to return either Friday versus the Maple Leafs or Saturday versus the Sabres, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports. Roslovic won't play versus New Jersey on Wednesday, but he is close to a return from an ankle fracture. The 26-year-old forward will miss his 21st consecutive game Wednesday. Roslovic will likely be eased back in upon his return, so he should be expected to take a bottom-six role once activated from injured reserve.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Likely to miss next two games

Roslovic (ankle) isn't expected to return until after the Christmas break, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports Wednesday. Columbus will play against Washington on Thursday and Toronto on Saturday before the break. Roslovic hasn't been in the lineup since Nov. 12 due to the injury. He has two goals and eight points in 14 outings this year.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Will miss 4-6 weeks

Roslovic suffered a fractured ankle during Sunday's loss to the Rangers and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks. The 26-year-old winger has been placed on injured reserve. Roslovic has gotten off to a solid start with two goals and eight points through 13 games this season, so this is somewhat of a significant loss for the Blue Jackets. With Roslovic facing a long-term absence, Mathieu Olivier and Emil Bemstrom will both be in contention for expanded roles for the foreseeable future.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: Three-point performance Thursday

Roslovic scored an even-strength goal and added two power-play assists in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens. Despite his impressive efforts in helping the Blue Jackets build a 3-1 lead midway through the second period, Roslovic arguably ended up being the goat on the night as it was his inadvertent screen of Elvis Merzlikins that allowed Cole Caufield to pot the OT winner. Roslovic is getting a chance to prove he can be a top-six forward for Columbus, and the 26-year-old has a four-game point streak going in which he's racked up two goals and six points, but he'll need to reduce the defensive lapses in crucial moments to hang on to his spot.

  • Blue Jackets' Jack Roslovic: First goal is OT winner

Roslovic scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 5-4 overtime victory over the Wild. He also added eight shots, a hit and a blocked shot to his ledger. The 26-year-old was nearly the goat on the night, committing a terrible turnover in the neutral zone that led to a Minnesota scoring chance less than a minute earlier, but after Columbus survived that flurry, Roslovic took the puck the other way, split the defense and beat Filip Gustavsson under his blocker arm. Roslovic moved up into the top six Saturday and even saw a bit of second-unit power-play time with Patrik Laine (upper body) unavailable, but he's tough to rely on as a fantasy asset given his erratic play and inconsistent role.
