    Gallant was released from his professional tryout and assigned to AHL Calgary on Thursday. Gallant will presumably spend most or all of 2023-24 with the Wranglers. He has yet to make his NHL debut.

  • Flames' Alex Gallant: Secures PTO

    Rotowire
    Gallant will join the Flames for training camp on a professional tryout agreement, per CapFriendly. Gallant played in 18 games for AHL Stockton last year in which he managed a mere two points. Undrafted coming out of juniors, the 28-year-old winger has yet to break into the NHL and figures to, at best, secure a two-way deal from Calgary if he impresses during training camp.
