  • Jets' Walker Duehr: Three-point outing Wednesday

Duehr scored twice and added an assist in AHL Manitoba's 5-0 win over Chicago on Wednesday. Duehr had gone two games without a point. He has five goals and five helpers over his last nine outings for the Moose. The hard-nosed 28-year-old is up to eight goals, 14 points, 46 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 22 AHL appearances this season, though the Jets' organizational forward depth could make it tough for him to get a call-up.

  • Jets' Walker Duehr: Adds three points for AHL club

Duehr scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Manitoba's 5-2 win over Rockford on Saturday. Duehr has had a couple of good games this season, but he has made just average contributions overall. He's at five goals, eight points, 27 shots on net and a minus-3 rating through 15 appearances. Duehr has enough NHL experience to be an option for the Jets to call up later in the year, but that will likely only happen if injuries pile up with the big club.

  • Jets' Walker Duehr: Scores twice Saturday

Duehr scored two goals on three shots in AHL Manitoba's 4-3 overtime loss to Chicago on Saturday. Duehr has three goals over six games with the Moose. The 27-year-old winger had a total of 28 points in 36 regular-season AHL outings, as well as three points in 24 NHL contests last year. He's a passable fourth-liner when he gets a call-up, but that will be tough to see happening in 2025-26 while he's in an organization with as much depth as the Jets have.

  • Jets' Walker Duehr: Hits waivers for AHL assignment

Duehr was placed on waivers by the Jets on Sunday for the purpose of assignment to AHL Manitoba, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports. Duehr suited up in 24 NHL games last season between Calgary and San Jose, but he was unavailable to make Winnipeg's Opening Night roster. In those 24 outings in the NHL, the 27-year-old recorded two goals and one assist. He also scored 16 goals and 28 points in 36 AHL regular-season games last year.

  • Jets' Walker Duehr: Lands two-way deal

Duehr signed a one-year, two-way contract with Winnipeg on Wednesday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports. Duehr suited up in 24 regular-season games last year split between the Flames and Sharks, recording two goals, one assist and 49 hits. While the winger should get a long look in camp, he likely faces an uphill battle in securing a spot on the Opening Night roster and figures to be in competition with fellow new additions Cole Koepke and Phil Di Giuseppe.

  • Sharks' Walker Duehr: Hits waivers

Duehr was placed on waivers Monday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. Duehr has two goals, six shots on net, three blocked shots and 21 hits in eight appearances with the Sharks since being claimed off waivers from the Flames on Jan. 22. If Calgary is the lone team to put in a claim for the 27-year-old forward, he could report directly to the club's minor-league affiliate. Should Duehr clear waivers, he will probably head to AHL San Jose.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Summoned from minors

Duehr was recalled from AHL Calgary on Monday. Duehr has played in the Flames' last six games, registering one assist, four shots on goal, six blocked shots and nine hits. He will probably occupy a bottom-six role in Tuesday's matchup versus Boston.

Duehr was assigned to AHL Calgary on Wednesday. Duehr was called up by the Flames on Dec. 2, and he logged an assist, eight hits and three blocked shots while averaging 10:08 of ice time over four appearances with the NHL club. The 27-year-old will head back to the minors but could rejoin the Flames at some point if they continue to deal with absences.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Slings assist Saturday

Duehr posted an assist in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Oilers. Duehr snapped a five-game slump when he set up a Nazem Kadri tally in the first period. This was the sixth game in a row Duehr has been under 10 minutes of ice time -- while he's playing regularly, he takes too few shifts to make a real impact in most contests. He's at six points, 20 shots on net, 51 hits and a plus-1 rating over 29 appearances this season.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Back in NHL

Duehr was recalled from AHL Calgary on Thursday. Duehr was sent to the minors last week after passing through waivers. The forward has played 19 games with the Flames this season, scoring once and adding three helpers. The Flames needed an extra forward as Dillon Dube has left the team for personal reasons and Martin Pospisil was placed on injured reserve with an upper-body injury earlier in the week.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Opportunities limited

Duehr has played in just 10 of the Flames' 35 games since the start of November. Duehr was a fourth-line fixture last season, but he's had trouble getting in the lineup at all after a slow start in 2023-24. The 26-year-old has four points, 12 shots on net and 25 hits through 19 appearances this season. He filled in for Jonathan Huberdeau (illness) in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Coyotes, but Duehr's best chance for consistent playing time going forward would likely come at the expense of Dillon Dube or A.J. Greer.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Not playing Monday

Duehr (illness) will not suit up Monday against Colorado, per the NHL's media site. Duehr has now missed three straight games and 13 of the last 16, mostly due to being a healthy scratch. He'll be considered questionable for Tuesday's matchup in Vegas until more information is available.

Duehr (illness) will miss Saturday's game against New Jersey. Duehr was also unavailable for Thursday's 3-2 loss to Carolina. He has a goal, four points and 21 hits in 15 outings this campaign.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Sits out Thursday

Duehr missed Thursday's tilt versus Carolina with the flu. Duehr missed practice Friday as well and his status versus New Jersey on Saturday is up in the air. The winger has a goal and three assists in 15 games this season.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Garners assist in win

Duehr notched an assist in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken. Duehr fished out a loose puck that Philipp Grubauer failed to cover on A.J. Greer's breakaway shot. Mikael Backlund then followed up to convert the goal. Duehr snapped a four-game point drought and is up to one goal and three helpers through 11 outings as a fixture on the Flames' fourth line. The winger has added seven shots on net, 14 hits, two PIM and a plus-1 rating, though his limited role precludes him from making much of an impact in fantasy.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Nets goal in win

Duehr scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Sabres. Duehr's first-period marker put the Flames ahead 2-1. His line with Yegor Sharangovich and A.J. Greer was active and effective throughout the contest. Duehr won't challenge any scoring records, but he's up to two points, six hits, three shots on goal, two PIM and a plus-1 rating through four contests. Duehr will need to chip in on occasion to keep Dryden Hunt from taking his spot in the lineup.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Dishes helper Wednesday

Duehr notched an assist in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Jets. Duehr helped out on MacKenzie Weegar's first-period tally. Duehr broke into the NHL lineup over the second half of the 2022-23 campaign, picking up a solid 11 points, 47 shots on goal and 55 hits in 27 games. He's still limited to a fourth-line role, where he'll be in contention with Dryden Hunt and A.J. Greer for playing time. Duehr's limited offense with solid physical play likely won't get him on the map in fantasy.

  • Flames' Walker Duehr: Assigned to minor-league affiliate

Duehr was assigned to AHL Calgary on Thursday. Duehr will head to the minors and presumably jump into a prominent role for AHL Calgary's upcoming playoff run. The 25-year-old winger picked up seven goals and 11 points through 27 NHL appearances this season.
