  • Bruins' Fabian Lysell: Nets two goals for Providence

Lysell scored twice in AHL Providence's 5-1 win over Toronto on Wednesday. Lysell has been steady for Providence throughout the year. He's up to eight goals and 14 points in 14 contests, and he's yet to go more than three games without a point. With Matej Blumel (lower body) expected to miss time for Boston, Lysell could be a candidate for a call-up.

  • Bruins' Fabian Lysell: Hat trick, assist in AHL win

Lysell scored three goals on six shots and added an assist in AHL Providence's 6-3 win over Charlotte on Sunday. Lysell, Alex Steeves and Matthew Poitras were dominant in the P-Bruins' second win of the year. The 22-year-old Lysell made 12 appearances with Boston last year, earning three points and 21 shots on net, and he added 34 points over 52 regular-season outings in the AHL. He could get another call-up in 2025-26 if his scoring remains strong.

Lysell spent the last few weeks with Boston and made 12 total appearances for the NHL club this year. He recorded a goal, two assists, five hits, two blocked shots and six PIM while averaging 13:27 of ice time, and he'll head back to the minors now that Boston's regular season has concluded.

  • Bruins' Fabian Lysell: Nets first career goal Sunday

Lysell scored a power-play goal and put four shots on net in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. Lysell's first career goal at the NHL level was on a power play midway through the second period. His first goal came just two games after he secured his first career assist against New Jersey last Tuesday. Lysell has averaged 13:47 of ice time per game since his call-up from AHL Providence on March 31 and has settled into a second-line role on the right wing. His first 11 games at the NHL level have been a solid showing, and if he can impress in the offseason, he'll have a strong chance to make the Bruins' roster for the start of the 2025-26 season.
