Lachance spent a week and a half with the Devils and made his NHL debut against the Capitals on Nov. 15, recording no points and a hit in 7:25 of ice time. He'll head back to the minors after Cody Glass (upper body) was activated off injured reserve Monday.

Lachance had one goal and one assist in two regular-season outings with New Jersey's top minor-league affiliate in 2024-25 while playing on an AHL agreement. Before signing a two-year, entry-level contract with the Devils in April, which begins in 2025-26, he registered 12 goals and 30 points across 40 outings for Boston University last campaign.
