The Blues announced Monday that Toropchenko is considered week-to-week after sustaining scalding burns to his legs in a home accident. Toropchenko missed several weeks earlier this season due to an injury, and he's facing another multi-game absence following his accident in his home. Over 17 appearances this year, Toropchenko has logged a goal, an assist, 38 hits, 15 PIM and 13 blocked shots while averaging 11:30 of ice time. Aleksanteri Kaskimaki was called up by the Blues on Monday to provide additional depth while Toropchenko and Jimmy Snuggerud (wrist) are sidelined.

Toropchenko scored a shorthanded goal and added six hits in Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Capitals. Toropchenko's first point of the season came on a penalty kill early in the third period, as he buried a goal 37 seconds into the frame to break up Logan Thompson's shutout bid. The 26-year-old Toropchenko has filled a bottom-six role this season. In addition to the goal, he has six shots on net, six blocked shots, 16 hits and a minus-5 rating over seven appearances.

Toropchenko (upper body) will be available for Monday's game against the Penguins, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. Toropchenko has missed the last seven games due to his injuries, but he'll return to action for Monday's home matchup, which will provide a boost for the Blues since Jake Neighbours (lower body) and Robert Thomas (upper body) have been ruled out. Toropchenko made 80 regular-season appearances for St. Louis last year, recording four goals, 14 assists, 223 hits, 53 blocked shots and 25 PIM while averaging 12:30 of ice time.

Toropchenko, who is dealing with injuries to both his upper and lower body, is slated to remain out of the lineup Thursday versus Utah, per Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Toropchenko hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 9. When he's healthy, the 26-year-old will likely take a spot on the Blues' bottom six, and that would potentially push Alexandre Texier out of the lineup.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: In doubt Saturday

Toropchenko is dealing with upper and lower-body injuries and is questionable to face the Flames on Saturday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. The Blues didn't offer much in the way of details other than to say Toropchenko was sore. At this point, given that the winger might be dealing with multiple injuries, it seems unlikely he'll be ready to face the Flames. Last season, the Russian notched four goals and 14 helpers in 80 regular-season tilts, missing the 20-point threshold for the second time in the last three years.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Held out Wednesday

Toropchenko was kept out of Wednesday's practice session with an undisclosed injury, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. According to Korac, Toropchenko was kept off the ice for soreness, so it certainly doesn't sound like a long-term issue. Over the last three seasons, the 26-year-old winger has reached the 20-point threshold just once, and he could struggle to do so in 2025-26 if he remains in a bottom-six role.

Toropchenko notched an assist, two shots on goal, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Jets in Game 5. Toropchenko is up to a goal and an assist over five playoff contests. The fourth-line winger has added six shots on net, 20 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating. The Blues haven't done much lineup shuffling in the first round, so Toropchenko's place in the lineup looks safe heading into Friday's must-win Game 6.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Point streak at three games

Toropchenko logged an assist, four hits and three blocked shots in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Ducks. Toropchenko set up a Radek Faksa tally in the second period as the Blues' fourth line got in on the high-scoring fun. This is starting to become normal for Toropchenko, who has two goals and four assists over his last seven outings, though that scoring pace is unlikely to last given his role. The 25-year-old forward is up to 15 points, 73 shots on net, 168 hits, 45 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 66 appearances this season.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: One of each in win

Toropchenko scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Friday's 4-3 win over the Ducks. Toropchenko wasted no time in putting a 50-game goal drought to rest Friday, scoring just 2:37 into this contest. He also helped out on a Zachary Bolduc tally in the third period for the second multi-point effort on Toropchenko's ledger this season. The 25-year-old winger is up to two goals, 10 assists, 67 shots on net, 154 hits, 21 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 62 appearances. Much of his lack of offense can be chalked up to bad luck -- he's shooting just 3.0 percent, which is rough for even a fourth-liner.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Manages helper Sunday

Toropchenko posted an assist, nine shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Stars. Toropchenko easily led the Blues in shots -- no one else on the team had more than five. The 25-year-old wasn't rewarded for the effort aside from earning an assist on Nathan Walker's second-period tally, ending Toropchenko's six-game drought. Toropchenko is stuck in a goal drought that's up to 49 contests, with his last tally being Nov. 5 versus the Lightning. He's produced just 10 points, 62 shots on net, 149 hits and a minus-1 rating over 60 appearances in a bottom-six role this season.

Toropchenko distributed an even-strength assist and went plus-1 in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Flames. Toropchenko recorded the secondary assist on Radek Faksa's game-winning goal shortly after the midway point of the third period. This was Toropchenko's first point in seven games, but he hasn't scored since Nov. 5. The 25-year-old hasn't been much of a factor in a fourth-line role this season, logging one goal, seven points, 19 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 43 appearances.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Picks up assist in loss

Toropchenko notched an assist in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres. Toropchenko has two assists over his last seven outings while primarily playing on the fourth line in that span. The 25-year-old has not been a steady source of offense this season, producing six points, 35 shots on net, 77 hits, 26 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 36 outings. Toropchenko has held his place in the lineup well and doesn't appear to be at risk of losing playing time to Mathieu Joseph.
