  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Finds twine Saturday

Toropchenko scored a goal, put two shots on net and dished out four hits in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks. Toropchenko ended his 20-game goal drought Saturday to level the score at two apiece early in the second period. With the twine finder, he now has four goals, nine points, 66 shots on net, 126 hits and 55 blocked shots through 62 games this season. The 26-year-old winger has provided the Blues' bottom six with solid defensive stats this season.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Could slip into part-time role

Toropchenko's point drought reached 10 games in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche. Toropchenko was scratched Friday in Anaheim, which suggests his hold on a fourth-line role could be weakening. The 26-year-old has played most of the season in that spot, but he has just one assist over 18 outings since the Olympic break. For the season, he's produced a mere eight points with 62 shots on net, 117 hits, 53 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 59 appearances. Otto Stenberg could be added to the lineup for some rookie potential, while Oskar Sundqvist or Nathan Walker could draw in for defensive skill and toughness if head coach Jim Montgomery wants a different look in the bottom six.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Buries goal in loss

Toropchenko scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars. Toropchenko ended a 12-game point drought with the third-period tally, which tied the contest at 4-4. The 26-year-old forward has remained a regular on the fourth line despite his slump. He's up to three goals, seven points, 42 shots on net, 89 hits, 39 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 41 appearances. While he's on pace for his worst full campaign, the Blues decided to keep him around with a two-year contract extension that he signed in January.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Inks two-year extension

Toropchenko signed a two-year, $5 million contract extension with St. Louis on Monday. • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Picks up shorthanded helper

Toropchenko distributed an assist, put two shots on net and recorded three hits in Saturday's 2-0 win over Montreal. Toropchenko picked up the lone helper on Robert Thomas' shorthanded tally when the prior fired a shot that was rebounded in for the score. Overall, Toropchenko has five points, 27 shots on goal, 57 hits and 27 blocks through 27 games this season. Saturday's contest helped him finish back-to-back games with at least one point for the first time this season. The 26-year-old winger has averaged over two minutes per game more than his total for the season, showcasing that the Blues want to get him more involved outside of his checking responsibilities on the fourth line. Toropchenko is trending toward viability in deep fantasy leagues that value category coverage over point production.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Adds pair of points in win

Toropchenko scored a goal, registered an assist and placed two shots on net in Friday's 4-3 win over Vegas. Toropchenko was the first star of the game for his two-point performance. After scoring the team's first goal, he had the primary assist on linemate Oskar Sundqvist's tally in the second. The 26-year-old winger offers decent category coverage in a limited role, as he has posted four points, 25 shots on goal, 54 hits and 26 blocks through 26 games this season. If he can begin to replicate performances similar to Friday's, he could offer low-end streaming value in deep fantasy leagues that place a premium on banger stats.

  • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: In doubt Saturday

Toropchenko is dealing with upper and lower-body injuries and is questionable to face the Flames on Saturday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. The Blues didn't offer much in the way of details other than to say Toropchenko was sore. At this point, given that the winger might be dealing with multiple injuries, it seems unlikely he'll be ready to face the Flames. • Blues' Alexei Toropchenko: Held out Wednesday

Toropchenko was kept out of Wednesday's practice session with an undisclosed injury, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. According to Korac, Toropchenko was kept off the ice for soreness, so it certainly doesn't sound like a long-term issue. Over the last three seasons, the 26-year-old winger has reached the 20-point threshold just once, and he could struggle to do so in 2025-26 if he remains in a bottom-six role.

Toropchenko notched an assist, two shots on goal, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Jets in Game 5. Toropchenko is up to a goal and an assist over five playoff contests. The fourth-line winger has added six shots on net, 20 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-3 rating. The Blues haven't done much lineup shuffling in the first round, so Toropchenko's place in the lineup looks safe heading into Friday's must-win Game 6.
