Pettersson was reassigned from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday.
Pettersson has yet to make his NHL debut. The 20-year-old blueliner has registered four helpers and a plus-3 rating through 15 games with Abbotsford this season. The 6-foot-3 Swedish native was selected in the third round by Vancouver in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

Pettersson was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday, per the NHL media site.
Pettersson was called up Monday and moved back to the AHL a day later since the Canucks no longer needed to carry eight defensemen. He could be in line again for a future call-up if there are question marks on the Canucks' blue line.

Pettersson was promoted from AHL Abbotsford on Sunday, per the NHL media site.
Pettersson has four assists in 15 minor-league outings this season. The 20-year-old blueliner could make his NHL debut during his stint with Vancouver. The Canucks placed Derek Forbort (knee) on injured reserve in a corresponding move.
