Kehler registered an .861 save percentage in three games with AHL Manitoba last season. The 6-foot-4 netminder was undrafted and has spent most of the last three years at the ECHL level. At this point, his chances of making an NHL impact are slim.

Kehler was competing for the backup job behind Connor Hellebuyck, but that role will once again belong to Laurent Brossoit. Kehler made his AHL debut with Ontario last season and will likely find spend this season in the minors.
