Marcus Sylvegard: Having contract terminated

Sylvegard was placed on unconditional waivers Tuesday by Utah for the purpose of contract termination, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. Sylvegard was productive in 35 appearances with AHL Springfield this season, having generated 10 goals and 11 assists. The Swedish forward has never suited up in an NHL game.
