  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: First two-point game

Halliday picked up two assists Saturday in a 7-5 loss to Toronto. It was his first two-point performance of his NHL career, and he logged just 8:43 in Saturday's contest. He has managed three assists in his last three games, but could lose his spot in the lineup if Shane Pinto (lower body) returns against Columbus on Monday.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Summoned to Ottawa

Halliday was recalled from AHL Belleville on Thursday. Halliday made his NHL debut two weeks ago and played four games with the Senators, picking up one assist before returning to Belleville. The 23-year-old center had three assists in two AHL games on the weekend, giving him one goal and 18 helpers with Belleville before his recall Thursday.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Sent to AHL affiliate

Halliday was loaned to AHL Belleville on Friday. Brady Tkachuk (thumb) was taken off injured Friday, which resulted in Halliday being dropped to the minors to free up a roster spot for the Sens. Halliday registered an assist, four shots on goal, three hits and a minus-1 rating during his four-game stint with the big club.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Recalled from minors

Halliday was promoted from AHL Belleville on Tuesday. Halliday's elevation to the NHL roster could be an indication that there is another injury among the Sens' forward group, though the team is also leaving on a seven-game road trip and may just want some emergency depth. If the 23-year-old Halliday does get into a game, it would mark his NHL debut after spending the last two seasons playing in the minors. An Ohio State product, Halliday was selected by Ottawa in the fourth round of the 2022 NHL Draft.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Racks up three assists for AHL team

Halliday notched three assists in AHL Belleville's 6-4 win over Rochester on Wednesday. Halliday has been a big playmaker for Belleville this season with one goal and 13 helpers over 13 appearances. He was assist-heavy last year as well, posting 19 goals and 32 assists over 71 regular-season contests in his first professional season. The 23-year-old forward has yet to make his NHL debut, but he could be in the mix for a call-up later in the year if he continues dishing out helpers at a high rate.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Back to minors

Halliday was returned to AHL Belleville on Tuesday, per the AHL media site. Halliday was brought up Monday but is back with Belleville in short order. The 2022 fourth-round pick has been productive in the minors with 15 goals and 28 helpers across 59 outings in 2024-25. The 22-year-old has yet to make his NHL debut.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Promoted from minors

Halliday was elevated from AHL Belleville on Thursday. Halliday and six other players were called up from the minors Thursday, likely as a way to fill out the roster ahead of preseason clashes with Detroit and Montreal on Friday and Saturday, respectively. For his part, the 22-year-old Halliday has yet to make his NHL debut and will almost certainly be shipped back to AHL Belleville ahead of Opening Night against the Panthers on Oct. 10.
