Hagg managed to pick up an assist Sunday in a 3-0 win over the Sabres.
Hagg is starting 60.3-percent of his shifts in the offensive zone -- this is easily a career high -- but his opportunities have been few and far between as he skates on the third defensive pairing. On the season, the Swede has one goal, one assist, and a minus-3 rating through 15 contests.
Hagg signed a two-year, $3.2 million contract with Philadelphia on Monday.
Hagg played in just 49 games this season, which saw him fail to replicate his 2018-19 point total. If the blueliner can avoid injury next year, he should be capable of challenging for the 30-point mark and should see an uptick in minutes compared to the 15:36 he averaged last year.
Hagg posted an assist, four shots on goal and three hits in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders in Game 4.
The Swedish blueliner recorded the secondary helper on Sean Couturier's second-period tally. Through nine playoff contest, Hagg has two assists, 24 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. He's seen a fairly limited role on the third pairing, making the 25-year-old hard to recommend for DFS managers.
Hagg managed an assist, three hits and three blocked shots in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Canadiens in Game 3.
Hagg collected the secondary helper on Jakub Voracek's first-period tally. The 25-year-old Hagg didn't play in the Flyers' last three games -- he's recorded an assist, seven hits and five blocked shots in three postseason appearances.
Hagg had three goals and 13 points with a plus-14 rating and 30 PIM in 49 games before the NHL paused the season in March.
The lower amount of games has obviously had an impact on his numbers, but the 25-year-old has changed his game. His PIM per game has dropped from 0.77 in 2018-19 to 0.61 this season, but his plus/minus has improved 17 points from last season to 2019-20. He probably won't match his goal and point totals from 2018-19, but his per-game averages are higher as well. Hagg has 136 hits and 79 blocks too, which are far behind last season's marks as well.
Hagg has two goals and six points with a plus-9 rating and six PIM in the last 13 games.
The veteran is averaging almost 2.5 hits per game during that stretch as well, but he's developed into more of a complete fantasy asset as opposed to just a hits specialist. He's taken fewer penalties and has been a lot more reliable defensively, leading to a superior plus/minus. He probably won't reach 20 points like last season, but Hagg is averaging more points per game. He has three goals and 13 points with a plus-15 rating and 25 PIM in 45 games this season.
Hagg posted an assist and two hits in Monday's 3-0 win over the Red Wings.
Hagg has picked up five of his nine points this season in his last 10 outings. The 24-year-old Swede has added 97 hits, 51 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 34 games.
Hagg posted an assist with two hits in a 6-3 victory over the Avalanche on Saturday.
The 24-year-old went pointless in the four games prior to the All-Star break, yet he still has a goal with four assists and a plus-7 rating in the past nine contests. That's a lot of offense for Hagg, who also has seven PIM during that stretch. He has one goal and eight points with a plus-6 rating and 19 PIM in 32 games this season.
Hagg notched an assist and three hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blues.
With the helper, Hagg has points in four of his last five games. The Swede is at just seven points and 82 hits in 28 appearances this season overall, so the recent hot streak is a bit unprecedented. Expect Hagg to remain a strong physical force, but the offense will likely fade away soon.
Hagg scored a goal, blocked three shots and added three hits in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.
Just nine seconds after a Flyer power-play expired, Hagg rippled the twine to tie the game at two in the final minute of the first period. The 24-year-old blueliner is a rare sight on the scoresheet -- he has just five points and 20 shots on goal to go with 73 hits and 41 blocks in 25 games this season. Despite notching points in consecutive contests, fantasy owners can safely ignore Hagg's contributions in most formats.
Hagg has zero goals and three assists with a minus-1 rating, 12 PIM and 69 hits in 23 games this season.
While he's not far behind his hits per game average this season, Hagg has been a healthy scratch at times, so he's not likely to reach the 250-hit plateau again. What's worse, though, is the fact that Hagg isn't spending much time in the penalty box or scoring. He had five goals, 20 points and 63 PIM in 82 games last season.
Hagg has one assist with an even rating, 16 hits and five blocks in the last five games.
The 24-year-old has been very disappointing on the scoring front this season, but that's not why owners insert Hagg into the lineup. His real value is in hits and blocks, and in the last 10 games, Hagg is averaging 3.1 hits and 1.4 blocks per game. Before this success, though, Hagg wasn't regularly playing, so his overall numbers for the season are down compared to 2018-19. Hagg has zero goals and three points with 10 PIM, 63 hits and 35 blocks in 20 games this season.
Hagg has one assist with five shots on net in the last five games since returning to the lineup Nov. 16.
The 24-year-old defenseman spent some time in the press box as a healthy scratch at the beginning of November, but he's played in five of Philadelphia's last six games. Hagg has no goals and two assists in 15 games this season, but his real value is in the hits and blocks categories. Unfortunately, he hasn't really gotten going in that area in large part because he's been in and out of the lineup. Hagg has 40 hits and 26 blocks in 15 games.
Hagg picked up an assist with two shots on goal in a 2-1 victory against the Canucks on Monday.
The helper was just Hagg's second point of the season. Owners usually count on the 24-year-old for physical play and not scoring, but this season, he only has 38 hits and 24 blocks in 14 contests. Sitting some games has been part of the issue, but even on a per game average basis, those hits and blocks are significantly behind the pace he set last season of 258 hits and 158 blocks in 82 games.
Hagg sat as a healthy scratch in Friday's 4-3 shootout victory over the Devils.
The 24-year-old hasn't scored a goal this season and hasn't produced a point since the first game of October. Largely for that reason, Hagg has been a healthy scratch twice in the last three contests. He is an asset in the hits and blocks categories, but his playing time now seems to be in jeopardy.
Hagg has one assist, a plus-1 rating, two PIM, 20 hits and 17 blocks in eight games this season.
He's been slow to find penalty minutes or any scoring this season, but Hagg's real value for owners is in his hits and blocks anyway. Hagg is behind his usual pace in hits, but he's still on track for more than 200 body blows and a new career high in blocks. He's posting these numbers despite a decline in playing time early in 2019-20.
Hagg has one assist with a plus-1 rating, three shots on net, 10 blocks and six hits in three games this season.
The 24-year-old defenseman is only useful in leagues with hits and blocks. Hagg has been blocking more shots than delivering hits, but it's early; last season, he posted career highs of 258 hits and 158 blocks. Anything he adds to the scoring categories is gravy.
Hagg recorded five goals and 20 points with 63 PIM, 258 hits and 158 blocks during 82 games in 2018-19.
All of those marks were career highs for Hagg. He also posted a minus-3 rating and 86 shots on net. Hagg will always be best at providing owners hits and blocks, but still only 24 years old, he could continue to see his offensive numbers blossom in the coming years.
Hagg has set new career highs with five goals, 20 points, 61 PIM, 251 hits and 151 blocks in 79 games this season.
The 79 games played is also a career high. Hagg needs four more shots on net to set a new high-water mark in that category too. Owners in deep leagues with all those categories should keep Hagg in mind as a late-round target for next season.
Hagg scored and posted four PIM with five hits in a 4-2 loss to the Islanders on Saturday.
For the second time since the All-Star break, an official called Hagg for a phantom high-sticking double minor. In both cases, the opposition got hit in the face with a teammate's stick, but Hagg went to the box. The 24-year-old received his revenge Saturday by scoring an ugly goal off the boards following his penalty. He has five goals and 19 points with 61 PIM and 236 hits in 75 games.
