Sandstrom was reassigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Monday.
Sandstrom joined the Flyers' taxi squad earlier this month but never had a chance to be promoted to the active roster. He's suited up in just two AHL games since the start of the 2018-19 season but he should be in line to see more work at that level this year.
Sandstrom was recalled to the taxi squad Sunday according to CBS Sports.
Sandstrom will join the Flyers' taxi squad but could return to AHL Lehigh Valley soon. He's appeared in just two AHL contests since the beginning of the 2018-19 campaign and is unlikely to suit up for Philadelphia any time soon.
