2018 Winter Olympics on Friday: Guide to TV, stream schedule, events to watch
Men's hockey, snowboarding and speed skating will all have major events on Friday
The 2018 Winter Olympics will come to a close after this weekend, but there's still plenty to be decided in the final few days. It's been an eventful week for the United States, and a number Americans have a chance to add to the country's medal totals on Friday. Among those notable Americans are snowboarder Red Gerard and speed skater Shani Davis. Here's where we're at in terms of medals so far.

Events to watch
Men's Ice Hockey (semifinal): Czech Republic will take on Olympic Athletes from Russia in a semifinal matchup. Winner will meet the winner of Canada-Germany in the gold medal game.

Men's Ice Hockey (semifinal): The Canadian women may have fallen to the United States in their own gold medal game, but the Canadian men's team is in search of back-to-back Olympic golds. They'll face off against Germany in a semifinal matchup with a spot in the gold medal game on the line.

Men's Snowboarding (big air gold medal final): 17-year-old American snowboard phenom Red Gerard will be in search of his second medal in Pyeongchang. Gerard won slopestyle gold earlier in these Olympics. Also, keep an eye out for Mark McMorris of Canada, who continues to be an incredible story. McMorris suffered near-fatal injuries after hitting a tree on his snowboard less than a year ago, and he already has secured a medal in South Korea -- a bronze in slopestyle.

Men's Speed Skating (1,000m gold medal final): American speed skating star Shani Davis returns to the Olympic stage in his best event. The 35-year-old Davis, who is the first African-American to make the U.S. speedskating team, won back-to-back golds in the 1000m in 2006 and 2010.
