| Murphy ineffective offensively: Lakers F Troy Murphy had a nice game on the boards on Thursday, snagging nine rebounds in just 24 minutes against Boston; however he struggled with his shot in the game, making just one of his five field goal attempts in the game to finish with two points. He also added an assist, a blocked shot and two steals in the Lakers’ 88-87 overtime victory. (Updated 02/09/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Murphy has not had a huge role off the bench for the Lakers this season, but has shown the ability to contribute in spurts when he receives playing time. That will likely only happen in blowouts, however, which obviously limits his appeal in Fantasy. Murphy is averaging 3.6 points with 3.7 rebounds thus far so continue to ignore him in the majority of leagues. (Updated 02/09/2012). |
