ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) Ahmad Thomas scored 19 points with six steals and seven rebounds, and Zilli Giacomo added 11 points as UNC-Asheville defeated Division II Brevard College 68-50 on Tuesday night.

Raekwon Miller also scored 11 for the Bulldogs (4-3) making three of six 3-pointers and grabbing seven boards - all off the defensive glass.

Brevard, which is transitioning from D-II to D-III, was led by Omar El Diraoui's 11 points and 10 from D.J. Bostick. Brevard has yet to win a game this season.

Thomas has scored in double figures in all seven games this season for UNC-Asheville, which was coming off a 95-57 loss at then No. 5 Kansas. He added six steals against Brevard.

Alec Wnuk and MaCio Teague each scored seven points for the Bulldogs, who shot 46 percent from the field (24-52).
