NICEVILLE, Fla. (AP) Antonio Green scored a career-high 30 points and Texas Rio Grande Valley made 17 3-pointers in defeating Grambling State 101-93 in overtime on Friday for the Vaqueros' first victory.

Nick Dixon added 19 points, Xavier McDaniel Jr. 18, Mike Hoffman 17 and Lew Stallworth 10 points and 10 assists. The Vaqueros (1-5) shot 53.8 percent.

Dixon and Stallworth scored four points each in the overtime when the Vaqueros never trailed.

Grambling's Remond Brown made a steal and scored a layup as time ran out in regulation tie at 88-88.

Averyl Ugba had 26 points and 20 rebounds for the Tigers (1-4). Brown added 25 points and Ervin Mitchell 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The victory came in the Visitors' Bracket semifinals of the Emerald Coast Classic. The Vaqueros (1-5) will play St. Francis Brooklyn in the bracket championship game Saturday while Grambling will play Savannah State in the consolation final.
