LOS ANGELES (AP) Brandon Boyd scored 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting, and Idaho State forced 17 turnovers on the way to a 67-55 defeat of Cal State Northridge on Saturday.

CSUN, hoping to end a 10-game losing streak, led 7-0 at the start, was tied at halftime but Boyd canned back-to-back 3-pointers as Idaho State (5-6) broke away on a 12-2 run early in the second half to take control and win for the fifth time in the last six games.

Novak Topalovic added 11 points for the Bengals and Jared Stutzman 10, converting 7-of-8 at the line. Geno Luzcando added nine points and nine rebounds.

Micheal Warren led the Matadors (1-11) with 15 points and Reggie Theus Jr. added 12. Idaho State scored 17 points off as many CSUN turnovers and also dominated on points in the paint, 36-28.

The 11 losses is a single-season Division I record losing streak for the Matadors. Going back to last season, the string is 17 straight losses.
