BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) Sean O'Brien converted a layup and a pair of free throws in the final minutes as Colgate held on to beat Lehigh for the first time since the 2014-15 season, posting a 76-72 in a Patriot League battle Wednesday night.

Colgate had lost five straight to the Mountain Hawks.

Will Rayman hit a 3 to give Colgate a 72-62 lead with 3:14 left, but Pat Andree answered with a 3 for Lehigh and Kyle Leufroy converted a 3-point play to make it 72-68 with 2:06 left. O'Brien scored on a layup with 1:50 to play, but Andree answered with a layup and Kahron Ross hit a jumper to get Lehigh within two, 74-72 with :21 left. O'Brien iced the game with two free throws with :10 remaining.

Jordan Burns led Colgate (9-9, 3-3) with 18 points. Jordan Swopshire and O'Brien added 13 apiece.

Andree finished with 24 points to lead Lehigh (8-10, 3-4), with Lance Tejada adding 14.
