ST. LOUIS (AP) Tramaine Isabell had a season-high 23 points plus 10 rebounds as Saint Louis Billikens defeated La Salle Explorers 62-49 on Saturday.

Javon Bess had 14 points for Saint Louis (17-9, 8-5 Atlantic 10 Conference). Jordan Goodwin added 10 points and eight rebounds. Hasahn French had 10 rebounds and three blocks for the home team.

Saul Phiri had 12 points for the Explorers (8-16, 6-6). Ed Croswell added 10 points and 14 rebounds. Jared Kimbrough had seven rebounds.

Pookie Powell, who led the Explorers in scoring heading into the contest with 16 points per game, shot only 17 percent in the game (1 of 6). Isiah Deas, the Explorers' second leading scorer coming into the matchup at 12 points per game, shot only 18 percent in the game (2 of 11).
