Tyree Eady added 15 points for the Bison. Jarius Cook chipped in 14, Jaxon Knotek scored 12 and Grant Nelson had 11. Knotek also had six rebounds.

North Dakota State (9-7, 7-1 Summit League) dominated the first half and led 46-20 at the break. Both teams set season records for scoring in the first half. The Bison's 46 first-half points marked a season best for the hosts, while the 20 points in the first half for the Pioneers were the fewest of the season for the road team.

JaVonni Bickham had 10 points for the Pioneers (1-12, 0-6), whose losing streak reached 12 games. Jase Townsend added 10 points.
