WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) Xander Rice scored 22 points to lead Monmouth to a 67-62 victory over Drexel 67-62 on Thursday night.

Rice had six rebounds for the Hawks (12-10, 5-4 Coastal Athletic Association). Jakari Spence scored 12 points and added five rebounds. Nikita Konstantynovskyi finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

Justin Moore finished with 12 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Dragons (15-8, 8-2). Amari Williams added 12 points and eight rebounds. Mate Okros had 11 points.
