Most people remember March Madness with classic upsets, buzzer-beating shots, and Cinderella story teams slipping on a glass slipper to get to the NCAA tournament and make its presence felt.
But sometimes, the best teams win. And that was the case in the WCC tournament, as No. 1 seed Gonzaga rolled through the league’s tournament to advance to 32-1, including a title-game victory against rival Saint Mary’s, which the Bulldogs dominated for the most part. The Zags appear set to enter the Big Dance as a No. 1 seed when the selection committee hands down its seeds Sunday.
Below is the final bracket and results from the tournament.
