CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) Jesse Hosket passed for three touchdowns, two in the first quarter, and Southeast Missouri State defeated Tennessee Tech 31-3 on Saturday.

Hosket completed 13 of 27 passes for 161 yards and Cameron Sanders added a 70-yard TD run as Southeast Missouri (2-4, 2-1 Ohio Valley Conference) scored a season-high 31 points and won its second-straight game after three losses to open the season. Tennessee Tech remains winless at 0-7, 0-4.

Hosket opened the fourth quarter firing a 47-yard TD pass to Kristian Wilkerson while being chased out of the pocket and Sanders capped the scoring with his 70-yard run, finishing with 102 yards. Jake Reynolds boomed a 78-yard punt, fourth longest in school history, to pin Tech at its 20 to start its final drive.

Tennessee Tech's Adam Browner completed 9 of 27 passes with two interceptions and was sacked twice. The Golden Eagles turned the ball over three times.
