Andy Dalton offers props to Boykin on breaking TCU passing TD record
Trevone Boykin on Saturday broke TCU's career passing touchdowns record, previously held by Bengals Pro Bowl quarterback Andy Dalton.

In the first quarter of Saturday's rout of Texas by TCU, quarterback Trevone Boykin broke the school's passing touchdown record, tossing the 72nd score of his career and 17th of the young season.
The previous holder of the record, Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton, took notice.
Records are meant to be broken. Happy for my guy Deuce. #GoFrogs

Dalton, a second-round draft choice of the Bengals in 2011, was a two-time Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year at TCU and MVP of three bowl games, including the Rose Bowl in 2011. Since entering the league, he's a two-time Pro Bowler who is hoping to lead Cincinnati to the postseason after a hot start.
Boykin, the favorite for offensive player of the year honors and a Heisman Trophy candidate to enter the season, threw for 1,470 yards and 14 touchdowns to just three interceptions in his first four games, all victories for the Horned Frogs.
