Miami fans' #FireAlGolden banner plane flew all the way to Cincinnati
Miami fans paid to fly the Fire Al Golden banner more than 1,000 miles to fly over the Cincinnati game on Thursday night.
Miami was off last week, which means we did not get to see the latest #FireAlGolden banner from disgruntled Hurricanes fans.
The last time Miami was in action, a narrow win over Nebraska in extra time, we saw the banners get a little more creative with the message, "C'mon, #FireAlGolden these banners are expensive." This week, the banner patrol flew all the way to Cincinnati to get its message on national television.
"I flew 1,124 miles just to say #FireAlGolden," the banner read on Thursday night. The cost, both in time and money, dedicated to this campaign is truly something.
ESPN's cameras got a clear view of the banner during the broadcast and the Palm Beach Post's Matt Porter was on the scene to catch a shot of the plane in action.
