Miami fans fly 'Fire Al Golden' banner over Sun Life Stadium
A banner was flown over Sun Life Stadium during Miami's game against Cincinnati calling for the removal of Al Golden.

A banner was flown over Sun Life Stadium Saturday during the first half of the Miami-Cincinnati game. It read, "Fire Al Golden, Save The U" and was apparently purchased by members of the West End Zone, an online forum with its own section for Miami football.

Things have been pretty negative this week after Miami's loss at Georgia Tech, which dropped the Hurricanes to 1-2 in ACC play and 3-3 overall. In the Palm Beach Post, athletic director Blake James had to defend Golden's "process." That process will be tested as the Hurricanes try to climb back into ACC Coastal contention with Virginia Tech (in Blacksburg) and Florida State left on the schedule no margin for error.
Miami star running back Duke Johnson addressed the banner after the game. Johnson ran for 162 yards on just 10 carries in the 55-34 Hurricanes victory.
Duke Johnson on the banner: "I had bigger things to worry about."
