Utah WR Kaelin Clay fumbles at the goal line, Oregon returns it for a TD
Watch a Utah wide receiver Kaelin Clay turn a touchdown for the Utes into a fumble return touchdown for Oregon.
Utah wide receiver Kaelin Clay has taken on a larger role in the Utah offense since Dres Anderson suffered a season-ending knee injury during a win against USC last month. No longer just a special teams threat, Clay has made a notable impact in his first season since transferring from Mt. San Antonio College.
All that said, it will take a long time before Utah fans are able to wrap their heads around this strange sequence from the first half against Oregon.
There's Clay dashing toward the end zone on a 78-yard pass play to open the second quarter. Clay dropped the ball short of the goal line and began to celebrate with along with fans and teammates. A few players from both teams realized the ball was live and began to wrestle for it near the goal line. Oregon's Erick Dargan gained possession, then Utah stripped Dargan and linebacker Joe Walker recovered the fumble and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown.

Clay's play is drawing obvious comparisons to DeSean Jackson. Well guess what? They went to the same high school, Long Beach Poly in Long Beach, Calif.
What do they teach there? RT @SportsCenter Utah WR Kaelin Clay, who dropped ball before scoring, went to same high school as DeSean Jackson.
