ELON, N.C. (AP) Takal Molson scored 20 points - with half coming from the free throw line - and Canisius held off Elon for a 92-91 win on Sunday.
STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) Akwasi Yeboah scored 25 points and Miles Latimer added 14, including a go-ahead 3-pointer, and Stony Brook defeated Delaware 74-68 on Sunday.
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) Grant Riller and Jarrell Brantley combined to score 56 points and Brantley added a career-high 17 rebounds to power the Cougars to an 83-79 victory over VCU on Saturday.
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) Furman coach Bob Richey says sophomore forward Clay Mounce does not understand how good he can be. Anyone watching Mounce's play against UNC Wilmington is starting to figure that out.
With the loss of four seniors last spring, Furman was not supposed to be 11-0 in the middle of December.
BALTIMORE (AP) Brian Fobbs nailed a 3-pointer in the final seconds of the second overtime to give Towson an 80-76 victory over UMBC on Tuesday night.
RIVERDALE, N.Y. (AP) Tareq Coburn scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Desure Buie had 18 points, six assists and three steals and Hofstra beat Manhattan 80-50 on Monday night for its fifth straight victory.
